Our Story: Security That Comes From Afar
For over a decade, Elevator Company has been born from a simple yet ambitious dream: to bring to Cape Verde the safety and technical excellence that our founder, Mr. Ernesto De Brito Santos, mastered for 28 years in France.
In the country where he has lived since 1973, Mr. Ernesto not only learned the trade – he perfected it. He worked with some of the most advanced technologies in Europe, faced rigorous safety standards, and understood that an elevator is not just a piece of equipment: it is the guarantee that families, employees, and guests arrive at their destination in complete safety.
In 2011, he brought this knowledge back to his homeland. He started in Tarrafalinho – Assomada, with the determination to do things differently. To do them better. Today, with headquarters in Praia and a national presence, every project we undertake carries this legacy: European technical rigor and Cape Verdean care.
Behind every installation, maintenance, or modernization project lies nearly three decades of experience. And a commitment that never breaks: your safety comes first.
